C0190 Saab Aero-x Diagnostic Trouble Code
C0190 Saab Aero-x code definition:
C0190 is a kind of OBD-II Diagnostic C-Chassis Diagnostic Trouble Code for Saab Aero-x.
C0190 Saab Aero-x is described as Oxygen Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected Bank 2 Sensor 1. This code appears when the PCM (powertrain control module, also known as ECM or engine control module in other brands) remains at or close the 0.450 set voltage point. If the car doesn't start, they will proceed by testing the voltage at the fuel pump connector and see if the fuel pump relay, fuse, and PCM circuitry should be inspected.
Symptoms
Symptoms of a C0190 Saab Aero-x diagnostic trouble code may include:
- Faulty PCM
- The light may stay on or light intermittently as the DPF regenerates. The engine will be sluggish on acceleration.
- Poor acceleration
- The engine oil will exhibit dilution from the ECUs attempts to increase engine temperature. Some vehicles advance the fuel injection timing slightly after top center to afterburn a small amount of fuel to increase exhaust temperatures. Some of this fuel enters the crankcase. When the ECU determines the necessity to regenerate the DPF, the service life of the oil be shortened significantly

Possible Causes :
- A large vacuum leak would cause a massive amount of un-metered air to enter the intake manifold resulting in an overly lean mixture.
- Faulty IMRC actuator/sensor
- A large air leak at or near the number one oxygen sensor would also cause a lean mixture.

Common Misdiagnoses
- Vehicle Speed Output Circuit Problem
- Cruise Control Servo Indicates Low Problem
- A/C System High Pressure High Temperature Problem
- PCM Stack Overrun Problem
- Transmission Control Module Reprogrammable Memory Problem
Repair Processes :
Pack the connector cavity with dielectric silicone compound (same stuff they use for light bulb sockets and spark plug wires) and reassemble.
Find out what kind of system you have and verify that voltage to the fuel level sensor is present at the fuel pump wiring harness.
