It's actually a general trouble code for a problem on IAT electrical circuit sensor, as it sends incorrect voltage input signals to the PCM. The spark should have a light tan color. Symptoms

Symptoms of a B0046 Spyker 30 diagnostic trouble code may include:
Place of B0046 in engine

Possible Causes :

  • A large air leak at or near the number one oxygen sensor would also cause a lean mixture.
  • Faulty IMRC actuator relay (if equipped)
  • Defective ECU strategies or components will prevent proper regeneration

Common Misdiagnoses

  1. Control Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance Problem
  2. Air Conditioning (A/C) Clutch Feedback Circuit High Voltage Problem
  3. Cruise Vehicle Speed/Set Speed Difference Too High Problem
  4. Kick-Down Switch Failed Short Problem
  5. Park/Neutral Postion (PNP) Switch Circuit Engine Torque Signal Circuit Problem

Repair Processes :

Look for rubbing, scraping, bare wires, worn spots or melted plastic connectors. Pull the connectors apart and carefully look at the terminals (the metal parts) inside the connectors. With the valve disconnected, the red voltmeter lead should be attached to the IMRC valve power wire and the black voltmeter lead connected to ground. Replace the oxygen sensor that is downstream from the catalytic converter on the side of the engine that does not contain cylinder #1. Also, if a oxygen sensor code stating "heater circuit malfunction" the sensor has most probably failed.
